Q: What is your minimum order?
A: The simple answer is that there is no minimum order value - it depends on a variety of factors. However once we receive your enquiry we can advise on the most appropriate order value for your requirements. As a rule of thumb, the smaller and more complex the label the higher the minimum order size.


Q: I need to reduce my self adhesive label expenditure, what advice can you offer?
A: At Valco, we offer a special Health Check service designed at reducing your costs wherever possible by taking into account:

• Your Product/Materials Choice  

Q: How can I be sure of receiving a quality product?
A: We are committed to manufacturing products of the highest quality.
Our training and recruitment policies are designed to maintain a high level of professionalism and workmanship therefore maximising product consistency. Our reputation for Research & Developement has been officially recognised by a Fasson award for the 'Innovative use of Self Adhesive Materials'.

Q: How quickly can you deliver my labels?
A: Our normal quoted lead times are five to ten working days from receipt of artwork and purchase order, despatched by JIT express delivery service. For tight deadlines we offer a fast-track premium service designed to deliver the printed product to you in as little as 48hours.

Q: I have no artwork can you help?
A: Yes. Our in house designer can work with you from a brief or rough sketch to produce a professional result. For more information or to discuss your design requirements, please send us an email or call 01642 617542.

Q: I have artwork, what digital formats do you accept?
A: We utilise industry standard software and prefer to recieve artwork in the following formats:

• Hi-Res PDF (all fonts as outlines)
• Adobe Illustrator CS
• FreeHand MX
• Quark Xpress 6.5
• Tiff - Spot colour designs are not supported in this format (full colour or monochrome only)
• Jpeg - Spot colour designs are not supported in this format (full colour or monochrome only)
• EPS

Consultation may be required if your artwork is of an unlisted file type. Please remember to include all fonts and ensure supporting images are of sufficient resolution (300+ dpi at full size) and that jpg's are set to highest quality.

Q: How do I get my artwork to you?
A: You can send it to us on a DVD or CD - or via Digital transfer: ISDN, FTP or email - repro@self-adhesive.co.uk

Q: Can you deliver my labels to multiple addresses?
A: Yes. Our dispatch team can break bulk print runs and despatch them to separate destinations using traceable logistics thereby increasing your speed to market.

Q: What materials can you print on?
A: Our buyers are able to source most paper, film and laminate materials in a universal range of quantities.
Our substrate suppliers read like a who's who of the self adhesive material industry and we are happy to pass on the benefit of this to our customers.

Q: Which adhesives are available to me?
A: Our buyers can source graded adhesives to suit an array of different applications.

Q: Do you deliver internationally?
A: Yes. Although we mainly supply self adhesive labels UK wide some of our more complex constructions have appeal to label users in all corners of the globe.
